Valentines for Veterans

"Salute to Veterans" is one of Camp Fire USA's National Projects, done by most Camp Fire Clubs. A lesson plan is available if you'd also like to host a two meeting program to help youth you know learn about veterans,
make valentines and earn this Camp Fire emblem for doing so.

This project is administered with the cooperation of the VA in Washington, D.C.  All valentines are sent to council offices and then delivered to VA hospitals all across the country.  To ensure the Iowana Council will be able to deliver your valentines to the appropriate VA Medical facility before Valentines Day, please plan your valentine-making meeting to be in early February.  Valentines must be in the Camp Fire Service Center by Friday, February 10 at 3:30 pm
