March 15

Absolutely Incredible Kid Day

Camp Fire USA encourages all parents, grand-parents, neighbors and fiends to join in this national effort to make all kids feel special.  On March 15, make an extra special effort to tell any and all kids in your life just how incredible and amazing they are! Write encouraging notes, cards or letters to the special kids in your life and slip them into their lunch boxes, under their pillows or hand them to them in person.  Putting your praise into writing allows the kids to hang onto those encouraging words, and return to them for inspiration and guidance for years to come.

and for more details on the national project

The Cedar Rapids, Marion and Hiawatha Public Libraries are celebrating AIKD too!
Thursday, March 15, from 3 to 7 p.m.
Adults can stop by any of those libraries to pick up a card and write a note of encouragement for each of special children in their lives.  Camp Fire volunteers will be on hand with Absolutely Incredible Kid stickers and Camp Fire bookmarks for the kids, too!
