Agatih

Agatih is Hitaga spelled back words.  This unit means "Dreams come true."  Agatih was established in 1937 as the older girls' unit.  Tree houses were first used in 1976.  To these girls it was truly "dreams come true".  Nestled in the woods in a separate section of camp this unit really provided the older girls a place to take on more responsibility and also have fun.
Each tree house sleeps seven people.
This unit has is scheduled for electricity for the 2005 camp season,
and uses WoHeLo's restrooms and showers temporarily.

Agatih Unit Song
There's a spot in my heart
And I've set it apart
As a store for my memories of camp.
In the winter I dream, 'round the fire's rosy gleam
As I live them all over again - -

You've called me back, Agatih,
To your hill, Agatih,
Called me back to your fire's rosy glow
We will sing once again
'Round your fire, once again,
As the embers are burning low.
With the stars up above,
And the friends whom we love,
When the silence of nights casts its spell
Oh, this, in my eyes, is a real paradise - -
You've called me back to it all Agatih!
